• Downtown and Central El Paso is the heart of the city with some of the oldest historic homes for sale in El Paso. This area has a population of about 45,000 and began development in 1827. There are several landmarks and historic sites, specifically in the Sunset Heights district. Other places to make note of are Chihuahuita (the oldest neighborhood in El Paso) and the El Segundo Barrio neighborhood, which used to be another point of entry between the U.S. and the Mexican border.

It’s named Mission Valley after the three long-standing Spanish missions built in the 1600s and 1700s that are still in use today.

   Chico’s is a small restaurant chain in El Paso nationally known for its rolled tacos. This taco joint has been featured on several TV shows and has even been considered a Texas bucket-list place to experience. 
2. Scenic Drive- Overlook
   Take the scenic drive through some beautiful neighborhoods and stop at the Overlook of El Paso and Juarez. This is a particularly interesting place to visit at night as you can see where the United States ends and Mexico begins just by the color of the lights.
