Willows at Vail Quarter Share ownership is a unique approach to mountain real estate. Nine units are owned by 28 owners who own a deeded fraction of a designated unit. The program allows owners up to four weeks peak winter, and four weeks peak summer use, with additional use opportunities in shoulder seasons. All units are made available to rent, and the rent is pooled to help cover the operating costs of the condominiums. There are no fees throughout the year. Owners receive either a distribution or assessment (determined by their use and the revenues of the program) once per year. The Willows has arguably one of the best locations in Vail Village. This style of ownership program has operated since the mid-seventies in the previous building on the site and continued in the new building which was constructed in 2008.
