The home was originally named Acacia Lodge after the acacia tree a symbol of purity, renewal, and immortality. This palatial, two-story home is a wonderful blend of both formal and exotic architecture. Because it has retained its integrity of design for over nearly 90 years, it is now a Ventura County Landmark and eligible for the National Register of Historic Places and the Mills Act. The Acacia Mansion dates back to 1929. And since then, it has been lovingly restored by the present owners.
