The historic town of Vineyard Haven was known as the home of ship builders, where many large schooners were built over the years. There still exists a ship builder in Vineyard Haven, Gannon & Benjamin Marine Railway is located right next to the Black Dog. This quaint town was called Holmes Hole until 1871. Spring Street which runs right up from Main St is one of the oldest streets in Vineyard Haven. This is where this lovely house, which was built by the owners in 2013, sits large on it's lot.
