LOCATION IS THE KEY WORD! This highly visible location is ideal for your business! The Soo Line Depot was originally located next to the railroad tracks between Central Avenue and Maple Avenue. With the construction of Veterans Parkway, the Depot was moved in 1999. The building was gutted and renovated into the current use Royal Tokyo Teppanyaki Steak House in 2000. The oak wainscotting, original windows, doors, and trim work were stripped and refinished. The two frosted ‘pickled’ windows along the Southeast wall were once the engineer's locker rooms and showers. The window opening into the octagon Station Master’s room also has trim with the name ‘TEX KT’ carved into the trim. Tex KT was a renowned HOBO of the 20th century and left his signature as he traveled across the country.
